third eye center

my most detailed drawings happen when i'm bored. in addition to being fascinated by eyes, i love the idea of "third eye center", which they talk about in hinduism and yoga. i took inspiration from this concept and started drawing patterns surrounding an eye in class the other day, and just kept going. this all resulted in something that multiple people told me looks like a page from the indie rock coloring book.

i love shooting in film during the summer. it always documents my adventures with the perfect dreamy vibes. these photos in particular, capture everything i love about youth. these are from this summer when i went on a road trip in wisconsin with the greatest group of people i know.

deconstructed

i have been exploring the idea of deconstruction in many forms throughout the past year. this performance art piece was created for a gallery at school of the art institute of chicago.
