every once and a while, i come across a new company or brand that i really want to support. i'm not sure what it is about the new online thrift store, midnight marauders, but there's something i love about the company. based in new jersey, midnight marauders is a group of ambitious teens who raid thrift stores throughout new york city, and pick the best vintage finds for their website.
midnight marauders was established by amira rasool and co-creative director nichole llewellyn. the founders have a vision of exactly what their brand stands for: "we take vintage pieces from the distant past or items from a few seasons prior and reinvent them in a way only a midnight marauder can. whether your style is urban, preppy, eclectic, boho, or ect, you'll find there is a little bit of a midnight marauder in you. our mission is to make secondhand shopping accessible to the masses by providing qualitiy and convenient services."and that is exactly what the brand does. the hardest part about thrift shopping is having to sort through all of the things that you wouldn't want in your wardrobe. but midnight marauders has done this for you while keeping the clothes at great deals.
the next thing i love about midnight marauders is the beautiful lookbook
they put together each season. the summer 2013 lookbook was shot in new york city.
